About Hot Shots Photography

Hot Shots Photography is a partnership.

We are Lynnette Rasmussen and David Jackson. Lynnette doesn’t remember Kodak Tri-X – David does. Lynnette is a bright, confident, nurturing young lady who is creative and artistic. David is “old school”. He is more a technician. The lighting and the background are more his focus. As Lynnette envisions what she wants the shot to be, David sees what will be needed to get it done successfully.

Generally, we both work at an assignment. We both take pictures, sometimes at the same time, but at different spots and sometimes, we are at the same spot, but shooting from different perspectives, capturing different parts of the scene.

Hot Shots is southern California based, in the Inland Empire.

While we have worked many of the important venues from Lake Arrowhead and Big Bear to Palm Springs to San Bernardino and Riverside, we have also worked weddings at The Castle in Glendale, Az, at the Falkirk Manson in San Raphael, Ca, at the Saint Francis Chapel in San Diego’s Balboa Park, and at the Squaw Valley Chapel in the Lake Tahoe area. We did a wedding on a rugby field on Catalina Island, and on a huge rock in Joshua Tree National Monument, and on the bluffs high above the Pacific Ocean in Point Loma, Ca.

For family shoots (from infants to graduations to 50 yr. anniversary parties), we go where the action is – we come to you. We’ve been in parks, halls, back yards and schools – if you’re doing it, we can shoot it!

From historic homes to exotic resort locations to backyards at private homes to the magnificent beaches of southern California, we have worked at some interesting venues.
